Experience it all through our new Peabody On the Road program. Contact us and the Yale Peabody Museum’s trained volunteers will come to your public program with more than 20 hands-on specimens and objects for children and adults to touch and explore, and to answer questions about natural history, world cultures and the Peabody Museum.

The Yale Peabody Museum congratulates the Peabody Museum Associates Council on receiving the 2007 Building Bridges on Higher Plateaus Award from the Greater New Haven Association of Volunteer Administrators for its Peabody on the Road Outreach Program.

This award recognizes a non-profit organization that has developed an innovative and successful volunteer program or event that engages volunteers in creative ways to advance the organization’s mission and goals and contribution to the greater community.

Spearheaded by Evelyn Duffner, Peabody on the Road introduces natural history specimens and cultural artifacts to audiences throughout the New Haven area.
