The EVOLUTIONS Podcasts

Evolutions Logo“The Evo Cast” is our very own podcast, or MP3 recording, of discussions held by members of the EVOLUTIONS After School Program talking about contemporary issues in science and education.

“Podcasting” — a term that combines “broadcasting” and Apple’s “iPod®” — was coined in 2004 to define a new technology that allows anyone on the internet to subscribe to audio or video files (as distinguished from the simple downloading or real-time streaming of files).  This technology, RSS (real simple syndication), enables files to be automatically downloaded onto a computer so that subscribers can access them at their own convenience.

Stay tuned for our 2008–2009 podcasts.

You can subscribe to our podcast using Apple’s iTunes® and searching for “Evolutions” on the podcast page.

Visit the Apple website to download iTunes.
