Education

B.A. Ohio Wesleyan University (’91 with Dept. Honors in Zoology); M.S. Ohio University (’94).

Research Interest

Biogeography and systematics of lizards (especially geckos) and salamanders. New England herpetology is a special interest.

Joined the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History in 1999 as a Curatorial Affiliate and became a full-time employee in 2001.

Recent Fieldwork

New Caledonia (Jan-Feb 2003). Other field work is done throughout the year (except winter) in New England.

Greg is the Specimen Coordinator for the Connecticut Amphibian Monitoring Project and as such is responsible for identifying and properly preserving the specimens collected as part of this long-term scientific study of amphibian populations in the state.
