Historical Scientific InstrumentsDivisional Holdings in PsychologyOne of the most remarkable items in the Yale Peabody Museums Division of Historical Scientific Instruments holdings is a small Lashley type saliometer given by Ivan Pavlov to Roberta Yerkes Blanshard when she and her father, Robert Mearns Yerkes, visited Pavlovs laboratory in Leningrad in July 1929. Blanshard donated the saliometer to the Division in December 1988. |
